For Fidesco, volunteers' safety comes first. That is why we are very pleased to have been praised recently by an auditor from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for having clear and effective safety and emergency policies and procedures.

 
Our 24/7 emergency telephone hotline and clear communication procedures and the division of responsibilities between Fidesco staff, country correspondents, consulates and volunteers, were considered outstanding. For our volunteers this means that in the difficult circumstances in which they do their work, help is never far away.
